Drought Crisis: Emergency Food Aid to Save Lionspruit's Rhinos

Lionspruit Reserve, a small wildlife sanctuary adjacent to Kruger National Park, faced a severe drought that had devastating effects on its wildlife, particularly the rhinos. The drought led to a critical shortage of natural food sources, and as a result, the reserve suffered a loss of some of their rhinos.

In response to this crisis, WeWild Africa stepped in with immediate action to provide essential support. The rhinos, which were in poor condition due to the lack of food, required urgent intervention. Our team at WeWild Africa quickly initiated a feeding operation in partnership with Wild and Free Rehabilitation Centre to deliver the necessary nutrition to these rhinos, aiming to stabilize their health and prevent any further fatalities.

WeWild Africa is committed to rapid response and dedicated resources in times of environmental distress.
